Our Instant Gallery At each meeting an area is provided for members to bring some of their recently turned items. All members are encouraged to participate in the instant gallery. It provides an opportunity for us to learn from each other. New turners can bring their work to discuss and get help from others.
Our Monthly Raffle Our monthly raffle is a time when members can bring items to contribute to the raffle and purchase tickets to the raffle for a chance to get an item someone else has brought. Items typically found in our raffle consist of wood for turning, various tools, books etc. Members can purchase red tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5. A red ticket half is placed in a cup in front of the item of interest from which a winning ticket is drawn. All money from the raffle goes to assist the club in bringing in outside demonstrators and to purchase tools and equipment for the club. Our Club Store Our club store enables us to purchase items in volume with only one shipping charge so we can provide the convenience and a little better deal for our members. These items are available at our Treasurers table at each meeting. Our Year End Drawing We have a drawing for prizes at our Christmas Party at our December meeting. To be eligible for that drawing our members can place a yellow ticket in the box at the meetings.
